Eugene Ballet is known for bringing full-scale, live ballet performances to the Hult Center’s Silva…
Community-Powered Success
Toni’s Tribute Season was a celebration of Toni Pimble’s 46-year legacy and a tribute to her leadership. Bringing this historic season to life was made possible by the support of our corporate sponsors, individual donors, and foundations who believe in the power of the arts to uplift and inspire our community.

We are proud to recognize and thank a vital pillar of support for Eugene Ballet, the generous local businesses who partnered with us this season. From long-term corporate sponsors to event supporters and in-kind donors, your contributions have strengthened our team and helped bring our artistic vision to life.
Visionary Leadership from Longstanding Sponsors
At the heart of our sponsor community is Syman-Degler Group, led by CEO Michael Syman Degler, a dedicated Eugene Ballet board member since 2011 and former Board President of nine years. Michael has passionately supported Eugene Ballet through leadership, fundraising, and advocacy. His firm’s multi-year sponsorship commitment provides critical financial stability, enabling Eugene Ballet to budget with confidence and invest in bold artistic growth—a commitment that reflects his belief in strengthening the community.
“It has been important for my family and business to be responsible and supportive in the community, and to help improve the quantity and quality of that which makes Eugene, Eugene.”
Over the years, Michael’s deep commitment to Eugene Ballet has extended beyond the boardroom; he even stepped on stage for a cameo appearance in Sleeping Beauty.
Essex Construction joined us in honoring Toni’s impact by sponsoring The Toni’s, a celebratory performance that served as both a tribute and a joyful sendoff. Their ongoing partnership with Eugene Ballet includes their valued collaboration on the construction of the Midtown Arts Center, our permanent home, and continues today as we build toward the future.
The Power of Events and Community Engagement
Special events are essential to how Eugene Ballet connects with supporters, raises critical funds, and invites new audiences into the world of dance. This year, Steel Returns sponsored our premier annual fundraiser, The Eugene Ball, helping make it one of our most successful to date.
Our newest event, The Haunted Hult, was brought to life through the creative support of Grassroots Landscape Co, whose sponsorship and enthusiasm helped us launch a dynamic community celebration that introduced Eugene Ballet to brand-new audiences.
As Garrett Vollstedt, CEO of GrassRoots Landscape Co, shared:
“The Haunted Hult was such a fun and unique event to be part of. We loved seeing so many people get introduced to Eugene Ballet in an exciting and creative way. It’s great knowing the night helped make dance and the arts more accessible to our community. We look forward to continuing to work with Eugene Ballet in the future!”
Expanding Our Reach with Outreach Support
This season, with support from our Outreach Sponsor, Oregon Eye Consultants, Eugene Ballet reached over 800 students, seniors, and families through performances and arts education programs at local schools, senior centers, and public spaces, bringing dance to audiences who might not otherwise have access.

Oregon Eye Consultants’ commitment to increasing their support for next season enables Eugene Ballet to plan for even broader outreach initiatives, expanding our impact in the community.
As Emma Ramage, Marketing Coordinator at Oregon Eye Consultants, shared:
“The Retina Team at Oregon Eye Consultants is proud to support Eugene Ballet in helping strengthen and invest in the well-being of our vibrant Eugene community. While our primary mission is caring for patients, we are equally committed to supporting programs that enrich and enhance the total health and welfare of our neighbors. We are honored to play a role in reviving EB’s community outreach program bringing the ballet to senior centers across Lane County.”
In-Kind Contributions That Elevate Every Detail
Our performances, events, and employee experience are enhanced by the generous contributions of local businesses that provide in-kind goods and services. Whether it’s stunning floral arrangements by Rhythm & Blooms, delightful treats from Euphoria Chocolates and Palace Bakery, professional branding from JLN Design, or wellness support from Smiles4Oregon, these businesses add vibrancy and joy to every Eugene Ballet experience.

One of our longstanding partners, QSL Print Communications, continues to play a critical role by providing beautifully printed materials, including season brochures, posters, invitations, and program books. Their consistent, high-quality work supports how we communicate with our community and present our artistic vision.
This year, QSL was recognized with the Arts and Business Partnership Award from the Arts & Business Alliance of Eugene (ABAE), alongside The John G. Shedd Institute for the Arts, highlighting their long-term, meaningful commitment to Eugene’s cultural institutions.
As Melissa Koke, CEO of QSL Print Communications, shared:
“It is my hope that all business owners reframe their consideration of supporting the arts. Don’t think about it as just as a transaction in your budget, but think of all that your organization and the community has to gain by helping to fund the arts. A lively arts scene is a sign of a vibrant and healthy society, and we want to be part of that for Lane County.”
Looking Ahead with Gratitude and Purpose
As we close Toni’s Legacy Season, we are reminded that Eugene Ballet’s success is powered by the community we serve. Each sponsor, donor, and partner helps us honor our past, enrich our present, and shape our future. With the support of businesses that believe in the arts, from boardrooms to bakeries, we are ready to leap into a new era of creative growth, community connection, and continued excellence.
To all who supported this season: thank you for helping Eugene Ballet thrive. Your investment in our work ensures that the beauty and inspiration of dance will continue to uplift our community for generations to come.
