Troy DeShazer brings a breadth of experience in nonprofit operations arts leadership, as well as a fresh perspective as a non-dancer to Eugene Ballet. He graduated from the University of Redlands in 2019 with an advanced degree in tuba performance before returning to Oregon to pursue a career in the arts.
Troy has served as the Operation Director for the Eugene Concert Choir, where he also performed with the Eugene Concert Orchestra from 2020 to 2024. Most recently, he served as Interim Executive Director at Chamber Music Amici, where he helped foster strong connections with the Eugene community and supported the board of directors through their first year-long executive search.
He is excited to join the Eugene Ballet family!
