Michelle Ferguson is a passionate advocate for the arts with extensive experience in nonprofit marketing, communications, and public relations. She brings leadership, creativity, and strategic insight to her work. Michelle has contributed her expertise to several businesses as a consultant and worked for nonprofits including Chamber Music Amici, Eugene Concert Choir, Eugene Environmental Film Festival, and Relief Nursery. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Innovation and Leadership from Southern Oregon University and an Associate’s degree in Business Administration from Lane Community College.
In addition to her work in the nonprofit sector, Michelle has a strong background in corporate accounting, which informs her strategic thinking and attention to detail in organizational planning and budgeting. With a decade of teaching experience in the 4J School District, this diverse professional background provides her with a unique perspective that she brings to her role at Eugene Ballet.
Since 2005, Michelle has been a proud resident of Eugene, embracing the city’s vibrant culture. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor adventures with her partner and two children.
