Level 1/2
Upon placement in Level 1/2, students begin to receive more comprehensive and structured training within the Eugene Ballet Academy syllabus. Focus at this level is on slow repetition of movement as well as a better understanding of how the muscles support movement in dance. Students are expected to recognize spoken ballet terms and perform movements with added focus on quality.

Level 3/4
Upon placement in Level 3/4, students are introduced to more advanced steps within the Eugene Ballet Academy curriculum. Emphasis is placed on memorizing combinations, executing steps with proper technique, and developing a clear understanding of basic arm positions and transitions. Students at this level should be ready, or nearly ready, to begin pointe. It is typically at this stage of training that we see a deeper commitment to dance and the emergence of a developing young artist.

Level 4 introduces more advanced steps and often marks the beginning of pointe readiness. Students work on memorization, technique, and foundational arm positions.
