After 30 years of credibility as one of the foremost arts organizations in Eugene, Eugene Ballet Company seeks to have a permanent home at the Midtown Arts Center at 16th and Willamette in Eugene, Oregon. The financial security resulting from owning a permanent facility will allow the Company to redirect its energies to exciting new artistic and creative endeavors, and to ensure its continued success for future audiences.The Ballet Works! capital campaign seeks a total of $2.5 million to fund the building purchase, renovations costs, financing, campaign costs, and a building reserve fund for maintenance and contingencies. Midtown Arts Center – as a permanent home for Eugene Ballet Company, Eugene Ballet Academy, Eugene Concert Choir, Eugene Opera, Oregon Mozart Players, Lane Arts Council, Dance Theater of Oregon, and the American Institute of Architects – will foster artistic synergy, contribute to the ongoing renaissance of the Midtown area, and provide an income stream for Eugene Ballet Company.
