Yoshie Oshima, Principal Dancer

A native of Japan, Yoshie began her studies under Michiko Matsumoto. She graduated from the Vaganova Ballet Academy in St. Petersburg, Russia and the aspirant program of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet. She was awarded first prize in the Ballet Competition for Youth in Japan. Yoshie has danced professionally with North Carolina Dance Theatre, Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida and USA Ballet Company. Her roles include Clara in The Nutcracker, the Autumn Fairy in Cinderella and Alice in Alice in Wonderland.
