Geoffrey Bergold, Company Dancer
Geoffrey Bergold, from Dunellen, New Jersey, began his training at the age of 18 while studying at the University of Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After gaining experience through productions of Chorus Line and Porgy and Bess, he further continued his training at the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet under the direction of Marcia Dale Weary. While on a full merit scholarship, Mr. Bergold had the opportunity to perform the principal role of Hot Chocolate in George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker, as well as the lead role of the Prince in Alan Hineline’s Cinderella. In 2009, Mr. Bergold was invited to become an apprentice with The New Jersey Ballet where he worked closely with Marina Bogdanova on roles from ballets such as Esmeralda, Swan Lake, and Sleeping Beauty. Last season Geoffrey was featured in EBCs Beatles ballet, All You Need is Love, in Rocky Raccoon and in The Nutcracker Russian dance. |
