Mark Tucker, Company member


Mark grew up in Hawaii. He has performed with the Terpsichorps Dance Theater under the direction of Heather Maloy and studied at the North Carolina School of the Arts where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Mark has performed in the well-known classics Coppelia, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Raymonda and George Balanchine’s Rubies as well as contemporary ballets such as Stanton Welch’s Bruiser, Heather Maloy’s Stranger; Salvatore Aiello’s Journey and was featured as the Head Wrangler in Agnes De Mille’s Rodeo and the Cavalier in The Nutcracker. With Eugene Ballet Company, Mark has been featured in many roles including the Arabian and Spanish dancer in The Nutcracker, the March Hare in Alice in Wonderland and in Gillmer Duran’s Tyranny of the Senses.
