Mark Tucker


Mark grew up in Hawaii. He has performed with the Terpsichorps Dance Theater under the direction of Heather Maloy and studied at the North Caroline School of the Arts where he earned a Batchelor of Fine Arts. Mark has performed in the well known classics; Coppelia, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Raymonda and George Balanchine’s Rubies as well as contemporary ballets such as Stanton Welch’s Bruiser, Heather Maloy’s Stranger; Salvatore Aiello’s Journey and was featured as the Head Wrangler in Agnes De Mille’s Rodeo and the cavalier in The Nutcracker. In June Mark competed in the 2009 New York International Ballet Competition partnering EBC dancer Heather Wallace. This is Mark’s third season with the Eugene Ballet.
