Sara Stockwell, Apprentice


Originally from Rochester, Minnesota, Sara Stockwell began her training with Lelia Friel and Deon Allen. In 2006, Ms. Stockwell relocated to Canada to begin training full-time in the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School’s Professional Division. While there, she received the Carlson Wagonlit and Dr. Alice Cheatley Scholarships, and performed as Clara in the company’s Nutcracker as well as in a varied repertoire with the school, from Petit Cygnets to the contemporary Down and Out by Gabriela Rehak. In 2010, Sara moved to New York City to train with Edward Ellison as a final year of study. This is Sara’s first season with Eugene Ballet.
