Reed Souther, Company member

Reed joins the Eugene Ballet Company from his hometown of Corvallis, Oregon, where he danced with Willamette Apprentice Ballet, in roles from The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Firebird, Le Corsaire and West Side Story. He began his studies under Jutta Hardison of Corvallis Academy of Ballet, and also had the privilege of studying under Franco de Vita at the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School of American Ballet Theatre in New York City. Last season Reed was featured as a Russian dancer in The Nutcracker and in Toni Pimble’s premiere of Ernest Bloch’s Concerto Grosso.
