Goh Shibata

Goh Shibata is from Tokyo, Japan where he studied ballet at Showa Academy of Performing Arts. After graduating he danced with Star Dancers Ballet Company in Tokyo before pursuing a career abroad. Goh danced two seasons with Roxey Ballet Company in New Jersey. There he explored soloist roles in full length contemporary works such as Bram Stoker's Dracula and Rodrigo in Othello. Some of his favorite roles include Kurt Jooss's Green Table, Blue Bird in The Sleeping Beauty. He has appeared as a guest artist with Northeast Youth Ballet Company. Last season Goh was featured in the pas de trois from Swan Lake and Pulcinella in The Nutcracker.
