Yoshie Oshima

A native of Japan, Yoshie began her studies under Michiko Matsumoto. She graduated from the Vaganova Ballet Academy in St. Petersburg Russia and the aspirant program of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet. She was awarded first prize in the Ballet Competition for Youth in Japan. Yoshie has danced professionally with North Carolina Dance Theatre, Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida and USA Ballet Company. Her roles include the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker, the Doll in Petrouchka and Tinker Bell in Peter Pan.
