Petr Orlov, Company member

This is Petr’s tenth season with Eugene Ballet Company. Born in Ust-Ilimsk, Russia, Petr began studying ballet at age five at the noted National Ballet Theater “Solnechie Blicki” under the Artistic Direction of Elena Orlova. In 1990, he entered the renowned Perm Academy of Ballet in Perm, Russia. In 1991 Peter attended The Moscow Academy of Ballet, studying with many of Russia’s great ballet teachers of The Bolshoi Ballet. He also studied at Elmhurst Ballet School in England. In 2002 Petr joined Moscow City Ballet. He has toured extensively in Russia and the United Kingdom. Last season Petr was featured in Cinderella as one of the ugly step-sisters, the Mad Hatter in Alice in Wonderland and in Mauricio Wainrot’s Anne Frank.
